Norick: The Mayors of Oklahoma City

By Bill Moore and Rick Moore, Oklahoma Heritage Association, 2005, in print, $26.95.

Mini-review: A good effort at detailing the careers of two pivotal Oklahoma City leaders, but the story dwells too much on the accomplishments of this father and son duo, and not enough on the trials and tribulations they faced trying to change their hometown’s future. The photos are interesting, but not generous. The Moores, however, do a good job at documenting the Noricks’ legacy – one that clearly places them among the most influential mayors in Oklahoma City history.
