Once again, the southside club has helped us recreate a history that we are rapidly losing.
During its heyday, and well into the 1970s, TG&Y was the retail giant of the region and far bigger than Wal Mart. The chain is gone, but we can look back at what it once was and see traces of what remains at this former store in Capitol Hill.
