Carolyn Cuskey, director of the Bill Atkinson Center , gave a history presentation to members of Retro Metro OKC on the history on Midwest City founder, newspaper publisher, developer and political candidate Bill Atkinson.
Bill Atkinson Center is located on Atkinson’s former 20-acre estate at NE 10 and Midwest Boulevard and includes a preserved ranch home with furnishings and décor dating back to the 1960s when it was built with hope that it would serve as a governor’s state retreat
