Sunbeam Family Services has a long and rich history. The image shown below is from Edwards, Oliphant and Ottaways’ Vanished Splendor III and shows an image taken sometime after 1907 when Lizzie D. Swisher founded the Sunbeam Children’s Home … the picture shows an early building on the same property presently occupied by Sunbeam Family Services.
