The Automobile Alley Collection represents photos taken by the Automobile Alley Association as the area was on the verge of a revival in the late 1990s – including images Paseo, Bricktown and the Central Business District, and vintage photos of Broadway when it was still home to dozens of car dealerships.

Bricktown is a regional destination admired and studied by civic delegations across the country. The district is home to hotels, shops, restaurants, condominiums, theaters and more. The district continues to evolve, and is one of Oklahoma City’s most important commercial hubs.

Learn about Oklahoma City’s oldest hotel – built in 1910 and opened in 1911 by oilman W.B. Skirvin. Guests have included foreign dignitaries and some of the biggest celebrities in entertainment and sports.

Springlake Amusement Park was a popular Oklahoma City attraction from the 1920s through the 1970s. The height of its popularity extended from the 1950s into the 1960s, and the park attracted top entertainers of the era.
